As a product designer and craftsman, Ive spent years designing and handcrafting calligraphy and fountain pens for creatives across the world. However, I noticed that the pens I used most often fineliners and writing pens were some of the worst offenders for disposability. Either they ended up in a drawer waiting for hard-to-find refills, or I was reluctant to throw away an otherwise functional pen simply because it had run out of ink.
