Written by Tove Jansson during World War II, the story comforted her during her darkest times, and it reflects the reality of millions of people who became refugees.

Moomin House is a symbol of safety, protection and togetherness a place where everyone is welcome, whenever they arrive. These are universal and timeless needs. They are as true today as they were 80 years ago.
