The blotter is a porous paper capable of absorbing a small quantity of ink by capillary action. It allows you to dry the excess ink from your writing and thus avoid unsightly stains or runs. Made in France. To be used with the J Herbin Wooden Ink Blotter blotting pad (reference 25000T), a traditional accessory which allows the ink to dry more quickly and to avoid ink stains.
